It is an honor to serve as the principal of Sunnyside and to be part of such a vibrant and dedicated school community. With over 20 years of experience in education, I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher, principal, and district leader. Each of these roles has strengthened my commitment to creating a positive, inclusive environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

At Sunnyside, we are proud of our strong culture of learning and our commitment to supporting the whole child. Through our SHINE expectations—Scholarly Habits, Have Respect, Impress with Integrity, Never Give Up, and Exceed Expectations—we empower students to grow not only as learners, but also as kind, responsible, and resilient individuals.

Working alongside our talented staff, my goal is to ensure that every student receives a high-quality education that prepares them for future success. We believe in fostering a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges, think critically, and persevere. Just as important, we value strong partnerships with families and the community. Open communication and collaboration are essential to creating the supportive environment our students deserve.

Sunnyside is a special place, and I am truly grateful to be part of this community. I look forward to continuing to work together to support our students and celebrate their many successes.
